DeMoney Tile & Stone

About DeMoney Tile & Stone - Madison, Mississippi

Bobby DeMoney, owner of DeMoney Tile & Stone in Madison, Mississippi, started his career in the flooring and interior contracting business in 1973 in Jackson, Mississippi.  Working his way up from warehouse manager to estimator and project manager and field superintendent.  Bobby DeMoney spent a short time in Dallas, Texas as project manager on several million plus projects before moving back to the Jackson, Mississippi area in 1980.  It was that year that a couple of long time friends asked him to partner with them and form a tile and stone contracting company that could do both residential and commercial work.  The 80's were tough years but by 1987 the company had grown from a $150,000 a year to over a $1,000,000 due to the increase in commercial work.  Bobby DeMoney and one of the partners bought out the other partner in 1987 and then Bobby DeMoney bought out the last partner in 1989 and changed the name to DeMoney Tile & Stone Company. Bobby also helped form a stone fabricating company called the Stone Source in 1991 and was partners in that until 2004. DeMoney Tile & Stone is blessed with great employees with many years of experience.  Brenda McKenzie, office manager, has been with the company since 1982 along with James Williams who is a master tile setter.  David Peacock , field manager, has been with the company since 1992 as well as two other tile setters, Walter Macaffee and Lonzell Chamblis.  DeMoney Tile & Stone is one of the most experienced tile and stone companies in the state of Mississippi and enjoys a reputation of dependability, craftsmanship and integrity.  We look forward to many more years of successful business.
